Materials: Regular thin coffee filters $1.00
Washable markers $1.00
Paint brushes $1.00
Plastic cups $1.00
Newspapers $0.50
Steps: #1- Set up newspapers on the working tables
#2- Fill up the plastic cups with water
#3- Give each student 3-5 filters
#4- Take a washable marker and color on certain patterns and designs
DO NOT COVER THE ENTIRE FILTER, LEAVE ENOUGH BLANK SPACE
#5- Take a brush and dip in the cup of water
#6- Brush the filter with water to make the colors bleed into the tie-dye effect
*Helpful Hints- you can also take the color filters & make them into flowers on Day 2
